On Saturday 8th May I had the great pleasure to do bridal makeup for Kate, two of her bridesmaids Jo & Amy and her mother Pat.
Kate opted for a simple yet elegant makeup as did the rest of the bridal party.
I want to wish Kate and her new husband all the best for their future and hope that you all had a fantastic day.
With the kind permission of Amy  who took photographs at the house, photographs will follow.

It has been a while since I added any new images on here. So here are a few from recent work I have done.

The last few weeks have gone so fast, I can’t believe we are in the second week of April already!
I have been up in sunny Brighton for the last week with my husband Simon, he was photographing the fantastic performances at Roedean stage school and DJ Jason ‘Phats’ Haywood. I was very pleased to do makeup for Helen Kimmerling of HK Management for her portrait shoot. Pictures to follow.

I have also been busy with bridal trials and fashion photoshoots. My favorite WED Magazine issue 13 will be on the shelves by the end of next week, keep an eye out for the fabulous features and of course my makeup skills in the features and front cover images

Yesterday I was at Simon Green Photography studios for a commercial portrait shoot with a difference. Two wonderful women who run tantric workshops came in for some new portraits for their website. Hilly & Sue were lovely to work with and I am very pleased with the sophisticated yet fun look they both went for. Again images to follow.

Sunday 11th sees the Penventon Hotel’s wedding fair. It will be another spectacular gathering of Cornwall’s finest suppliers for your big day. If you need inspiration for your wedding come along and meet a variety of suppliers from flowers to cakes, dresses to cars, hair to of course makeup. I will be there with Jenny Pheby of Aloe Naturelle, supplier of Aloe Vera products and I will be on hand to show off Jenny’s range of Aloe Vera makeup, great if you have allergies or sensitive skin. Come along and have a free mini makeup trial using these beautiful products. So that is Penventon Park Hotel, Redruth Sunday 11th April 11am to 4pm, I look forward to seeing you there.

I just wanted to say what a great day we all had at The Weding Show at Trereife House yesterday. There were many fantastic stalls at the show providing everything from cakes to tiaras.
It was great to see so many familiar faces, Anna DSouza, Absolute Canvas, Absolute Chocolate, Miss Glam Bridal, Elements of Earth, Wed Magazine, Bride!, Vu’s Bridal, Cornovi and many more.
There was a fabulous fashion show with dresses from Anna DSouza, Bride and Vu’s. Hair & Makeup by Number 8 hairdressing and Ella Butler.
I was there with my husband Simon Green (Simon Green Photography), who has a photography exhibition at Trereife, in the gallery above the poets cafe along with Phil Nicholls.
We saw lots of potential brides and it was nice to talk to you all.
The next bridal fair i will be attending is on March 7th at Tregenna Castle. So why not come along and have a free mini makeup trial with me. I will be using some lovely skin friendly Aloe Vera based makeup, great if you have sensitive skin!

On Sunday 7th February I will be attending the Wedding Show at Trereife House near Newlyn, Penzance.
There will be everything from cakes and flowers to dresses and marquees. The finest Wedding suppliers in the South West will be there. There will be a fashion show, food and wine to try and live music throughout the day.

Come along and spend the day at this beautiful location.

On Sunday 24th January 2010 I will attending the Kingsly Village Bridal Fayre. Organised by A Certain Style this will be a day of all things wedding.

I have a stand along with Jenny Pheby of Aloe Naturalle, proving aloe vera products from face cream to toothpaste, health drinks to cosmetics. I will be doing free mini makeup trials using all of Jenny’s wonderful aloe vera based makeup.

So if you are engaged or thinking about it then come along and see all the fantastic things on offer for your big day, pop along to my stall and have a free mini makeup trial using some fantastic products.

Tswei Hunter Walsh hair salon, the South Wests premier hair salon are looking for
male and female models to appear in future hair collections which will be used to promote the salon.
In conjunction with Simon Green Photography the Salon will be running a ‘face of Cornwall’
casting day at… the Zero Lounge, Chapel Street, Penzance
at 10.00am on the 4th January 2010.

You don’t have to have any modelling experience but need to be aged from 18 upto any age,
be able to make time to attend photoshoots during 2010, happy to have your image used in the press,
magazines, online and in competitions and enjoy having great looking hair then you can enter.

In return you will receive free hair work for the life of the modelling partnership
and a portfolio of images from the shoots that you are involved in.

On a very cold Sunday afternoon I went along to a very cold and wet beach to do the makeup for a fashion shoot for the next exciting issue of Cornwall’s fabulous WED Magazine.
Along with Brendan & Beccy from Wed were Simon Green and Greta Utopiate. Simon took some amazing images of Greta in some stunning dresses. Greta did very well despite the freezing weather and even colder sea!

Look out for the new issue of Wed in the New year. I will post some images once the magazine is out, don’t want to spoil the suprise
