Makeup Review for G Spot Cosmetics
I have just finished testing some products from the new cosmetics range G Spot Cosmetics. They have a store in London and their website should be active any time now. They kindly sent me some products to test and here is what i thought.
The first thing i loved was the packaging. It has a ‘soft touch’ to it and feels almost like suede. All black with silver writing.
I tested a mascara, eyeliner and two eyeshadows. I will be testing their foundation in the next week.
Mascara: (3 in 1 – Brown Dream) It was very nice to work with, there were no clumps, it dried quickly, the colour was good and it was easy to remove.
Eyeliner: ( Irresistible- greeny / blue colour) This had a very smooth, soft texture ,it was easy to apply with no dragging of the skin, it blended well, the colour was good, it was easy to remove.
Eyeshadow: ( Christiana- vivid orange & Tiara- mid green with gold glitter) both had good colour, christiana more than tiara, both were easy to blend, i was able to build the powder up easily for a stronger colour, it mixed great with lip gloss for the lips, there was hardly any fall out when applying. it was very easy to remove even from the lips, it mixed well with water / wet brush for a more intense colour. I use a lot of Dazzle dust and loose powder as i love the colours i can get but i have to trade that for a lot of fall out when applying to the eyes. this product however gave me the colour and mixing that i love from a dust without the fall out.
All of the products lasted well. I did two photo shoots and i didn’t need any touch ups during the shoots. The makeup looked as good at the end as it did when i first applied it.
Negatives: The eyeliner did smudge when the models hair rubbed across it, but it was easy to remove so it was not a major problem. The Tiara eyeshadow did need a bit more product to show the colour, but again not a major problem, it works great for a subtle look.
Thank you to Harv for sending me the products.
